Aya in the CountrysideAya and I have worked together for 15 years, from 2008 to 2023, and we completed 33 shoots, creating some incredible images and some wonderful memories. The work we did overseas in the Canaries (Lanzarote and Fuerteventura twice), Ibiza and the Seychelles has already been published in four of my previous books, and the first book simply “Aya” contains a selection of my favourite images from the first 4 studio shoots. However, there is much of our work still to be documented. As Aya has now decided to retire from modeling it seems a fitting time to address this and complete the series of books about my favourite model and long time friend.

ERISI first met Eris in 2014 when she contacted me about doing a shoot near Great Missenden in Buckinghamshire, which was where she lived at the time. Her and her husband had rented a flat above a garage on a large farm and she had been given permission by the farmer to use any of the outdoor areas and farm buildings for a photographic shoot. This was too good an opportunity to miss so I duly drove to the location and we made excellent use of the facilities, which included a huge stack of silage bags and a shed full of old vintage cars. We had a lot of fun creating some interesting images here so over the next year or so we arranged three more shoots at my home studio and became good friends in the process.

Aya in Devon"Aya in Devon" is a short book about our photographic trip to Devon in October 2019. It should be called Aya on Dartmoor as all the photographs we took were in Dartmoor National Park. We spent three days here, mainly sitting in the car waiting for the rain to stop. Dartmoor can be a harsh place but it can also be an incredibly beautiful location with heavy rain and dark stormy skies but every so often the rain would stop and the sun came out giving some quite dramatic scenery to shoot against.

Body Projection 2“Body Projection 2” is the second book and culmination of the Body Projection project initiated in 1992. The first part of this project was published, twelve years ago in 2012, as the book “Body Projection” and described the early attempts to use this technique to create interesting and artistic art images. Twelve years further on (2024) and a new collection of photographic art images has been lovingly selected using new ideas and this wonderfully creative technique.

RosaleenI met Rosaleen Young in 2002 and photographed her four times during that year. The images we created together are some of my all time favourites. She is an amazing lady, an erotic Lolita, with a fertile imagination writing a wonderful book of short erotic stories called "Fantasies of a Young Submissive", which I had the great honour of illustrating for her. Infrared NudesINFRARED NUDES is an eclectic collection of monochrome fine art nude images created using black and white infrared film to photograph the subjects. A wide variety of effects have been achieved in both outdoor locations and in the studio ranging from images with super high granularity to beautifully ethereal and soft images. The images in this book have been divided into two categories, studio nudes and outdoor nudes, mostly photographed without filters but occasionally using a yellow or orange filter. Enjoy!

DanielleI met Danielle in May 1997 while participating in a workshop at Snowdon Mill in North Wales, which was organised by the incredibly talented photographer David Penprase. I was so impressed with the workshop and Danielle that I invited her to shoot with me in Portugal the following September. Fortunately for me she accepted my invitation and we spent an amazing week in Vale de Parra on the Portuguese Algarve creating some wonderful images. Some of my all time favourites. It’s now 2023 and 26 years later I’ve just just decided to create this book of my favourite images. These are all analogue images shot on either colour or black and white film mainly with my trusty Bronica ETRSi medium format camera. There are also a few infra-red images included which were captured on 35mm infra-red black and white film. Thank you Danielle for your patience and excellent modeling skills. Rude FoodI’ve always been fascinated by the connection of certain types of food and drink and erotic photography and how the two can be combined to create interesting images. My aim in creating this book is not to copy previous work in this area but to add my own thoughts and twists to the subject, and to make images which are original, creative, artistic, often erotic, and sometimes amusing. This eclectic collection of images has been in the making for many years, sometimes taken years apart, and sometimes in connection with other projects. I hope you find them interesting and love them as much as I do.

France 2004 : St RaphaelThis book is the second in a trilogy about my photographic exploits in France with a group of international photographers and models and takes place in and around the luxury villa, "Villa Mauresque", in Saint Raphael on the Côte d'Azur, South of France. The photographs were shot mainly in the villa and it's beautiful grounds, and the photogenic Mediterranean beaches which back directly onto the villa. The idea was to form a collaborative group of creatives in an atmosphere conducive to generating artistic images and learn from each others skills.

France 2003 : CrazannesThis book is the first in a trilogy about my photographic exploits in France with a group of altruistic international photographers and fine art nude models and takes place in and around a wonderful old chateau in Crazannes, near La Rochelle in western France in 2003. The photographs were shot mainly in and around the castle and it’s beautiful grounds and on a stunning beach at La Rochelle. The idea was to form a collaborative group of creatives in an atmosphere conducive to generating artistic art nude images and learn from each other’s skills. At this time all the photographers were using analogue (film) cameras and the model's compensation was a portfolio of ten prints from each photographer. The ultimate aim was to produce a book of around 90 - 100 images; about ten of the best from each of the photographers. Unfortunately, publishing a book in 2003 was much harder than it is today (2023), with on-line self publishing a thing of the future, and this goal was never realised. However, self publishing is relatively easy now, so I have finally been able to create this book of my retrospective work from this project.

Icelandic Selkie TenerifeIcelandic Selkie Tenerife is a photographic book about a week spent on the Canarian island of Tenerife with the awesome Icelandic model Svala (Icelandic Selkie); one of the best, if not THE best art model in Iceland. Those that know Svala will associate her with her Icelandic Selkie persona and her modeling in extreme ice and snow ladened landscapes in Iceland. She is more likely to be seen reclining on an iceberg or posing in front of an icicle bestrewn waterfall than posing on a sun drenched beach, so this trip was something of a novelty for her.

Ice MaidensIce Maidens is a photographic journey into the fabulous country that is Iceland, with three superb art nude models models in October 2019. On the trip, which was ably organised by Helen, were UK models Helen Diaz and Pippa Doll and Icelandic model Svala. There is no denying it, it was very cold, mostly below zero centigrade, but the models coped extremely well, posing against wonderful backdrops of ice and water. A Devon AdventureA Devon Adventure is my 40th indie book and features the stunnning Thai model Tish Summers. The book is a result of an amazing weekend shoot in Devon with the charismatic Tish. Tanya in Cape VerdeTanya in Cape Verde is the 25th book in my model series and features the amazing English model Tanya Atherton in the African country of Cape Verde. Tanya is a published full time freelance model and gridgirl who is 100 percent dedicated to what she does. She is currently based in the West Midlands but has travelled all around the world, from Mexico to Vietnam and many places in between, working with some amazing photographers. She is confident, friendly, approachable and very hard working, always striving to get the best possible image in any given situation. Her forte is out of the box ideas and enjoys shoots that are a little different and against the grain with bursts of creativity. Sandra Blu in FuerteventuraSandra Blu in Fuerteventura is the 9th book in the Canarian Model Adventures series and features the amazing Spanish model Sandra Blu. She is a quirky lady with some brilliant modelling skills and unusual ideas. As a former author and photo editor in the photographic industry she has lead an interesting life. This is just one little slice of it! A wonderful woman I have been proud to work with. Some of the craziest shots either of us had ever done were shot here using a pair of octopuses and a band of wild Barbary ground squirrels as props. Not many models would have done that! Emma Morgan Gran CanariaThis book is a collection of images of the lovely glamour model Emma Morgan from a shoot in Gran Canaria, Canary Islands, in 1993. The photographic trip was one of my earliest trips (twenty-five years ago) and was a group event with four models and, if I remember correctly, six photographers. Further books featuring the other three models, Justine King, Alison Pratt and Jacqui Saunders will hopefully be published in the future. All the images for this book were shot on film, using either colour or black & white negative film or transparency film. Digital imagery was not an option in 1993!

Aya FuerteventuraFuerteventura is one of my most favourite places to do my creative photography. I especially love the wide expanses of the magnificent white sand dunes of Corralejo and the freedom this allows both myself and the model I am photographing to express ourselves on this desert canvas. On this occasion I was fortunate enough to be working with one of my favourite muses and long time friend, Aya, a Japanese model I have worked with for over ten years. Not content with shooting here one week in November 2016 we came back for a second week in February 2017, and this book is a compilation of the best images we created here over these two visits to Fuerteventura. Staying at the same amazingly photogenic villa on both occasions the images are a mixture of art nude, fashion and glamour taken in and around the villa and at various locations around the island. Synonyms that readily come to mind are preoccupation, infatuation, addiction and OBSESSION. There are sexual fetishes and nonsexual fetishes, though both are obsessive interests, and there are thousands to choose from. The subject is a rich source for pictorial imagery.

Hakeena"Hakeena" is a compilation of images of the lovely model Hakeena, shot on the Canarian island of Fuerteventura in 2015. It's an eclectic mixture of images, from glamour to fashion and fine art nude, taken in locations all over the island, from the beautiful beaches in the South to the high mountains of the West, and of course the magnificent white sand dunes of the Corellajo National Park in the North of the island. The beautiful Hakeena owes her good looks to her mixed heritage. With an Indian mother, African American father, and even some native American Cherokee in her bloodline, she has inherited a unique blend of features resulting in her amazing sultry look.

AYAOnce in a while I get to work with a model and we just click. When that happens the resulting images we make together are more than the sum of our individual efforts. TRACEY ELVIK 2 - Portugal & FranceThis book is the second of the Tracey Elvik trilogy and is a collection of photographs from two location shoots, one in Portugal and the other in France. The first half of the book consists of images shot in the Algarve, Portugal in 1993, mostly around the lovely villa Vivenda Estrelicia, the surrounding countryside, and Boliqueime railway station. The second half of the book is devoted to a selection of images from a shoot in France in 1995. The location here was a charming chateau, and its beautiful grounds, south of Angers in middle France.

ShadowsShadows have always been a great fascination to me. The way they wrap around a subject following it's shape and form and casting patterns of intricate detail on it's surface is mesmerizing. Twin PeaksFemale breasts have fascinated the male since time immemorial. From the cave paintings and sculptures of early man, to the predilection of the great masters of art to paint naked woman, to the current explosion of digital photography imagery, the female breast has always been a popular subject. In many cases, as with all images of a sexual nature, the imagery can be artistic and in good taste, in others not so. The dividing line is often blurred and is a matter for personal taste and preferences.This is a collection of some of my favourite images where the main emphasis is on the female breast, which I perceive as being either artistic or beautiful. Whether they are small or large, natural or otherwise, all have their own special allure and attraction.

TUSH!TUSH! is a book dedicated to my favourite part of the female anatomy, the bottom, derriere or tush. I am not alone in this fascination. Many names have been applied to this wonderfully rounded and shapely asset, in every language and tongue around the planet, and a few of these appear on the front page. One of my favourite names is "tush", to be said softly like shush, conveying the soft warm suppleness of beautiful womanly flesh. Several art books have already been dedicated to the delicate subject. Among my favourites is "Derrière" by Jeanloup Sieff, which was a great inspiration; produced with tasteful images, and a hint of wit and humour. My aim is to try and emulate his standards and produce a book which is as artistic and tasteful. I will leave the viewer to decide whether I succeeded or not!

Body ProjectionThe Body Projection project began 20 years ago in 1992 with the first few images in this book being created with a rather low powered 35mm slide projector and a small collection of transparencies. The projected images were captured on slow tungsten slide film (Ektachrome 64T or 160T), and the model had to be perfectly still during the long exposure. A tripod was necessary in most cases, depending on the lightness and density of the transparency in use. Very few of the initial images were worth keeping, but perseverence ensured that enough images were of suitable quality to make the project worthy of continuing. With the more recent advent of image stabilized digital cameras and high luminosity digital projectors it is now much easier to make images of this kind.

Tabhita FuerteventuraTabhita Fuerteventura is the first in a series of monographs highlighting some of my favourite muses, and features beautiful Indonesian model Tabhita.
