Twin PeaksFemale breasts have fascinated the male since time immemorial. From the cave paintings and sculptures of early man, to the predilection of the great masters of art to paint naked woman, to the current explosion of digital photography imagery, the female breast has always been a popular subject. In many cases, as with all images of a sexual nature, the imagery can be artistic and in good taste, in others not so. The dividing line is often blurred and is a matter for personal taste and preferences.This is a collection of some of my favourite images where the main emphasis is on the female breast, which I perceive as being either artistic or beautiful. Whether they are small or large, natural or otherwise, all have their own special allure and attraction. TUSH!TUSH! is a book dedicated to my favourite part of the female anatomy, the bottom, derriere or tush. I am not alone in this fascination. Many names have been applied to this wonderfully rounded and shapely asset, in every language and tongue around the planet, and a few of these appear on the front page. One of my favourite names is "tush", to be said softly like shush, conveying the soft warm suppleness of beautiful womanly flesh. Several art books have already been dedicated to the delicate subject. Among my favourites is "Derrière" by Jeanloup Sieff, which was a great inspiration; produced with tasteful images, and a hint of wit and humour. My aim is to try and emulate his standards and produce a book which is as artistic and tasteful. Body ProjectionThe Body Projection project began 20 years ago in 1992 with the first few images in this book being created with a rather low powered 35mm slide projector and a small collection of transparencies. The projected images were captured on slow tungsten slide film (Ektachrome 64T or 160T), and the model had to be perfectly still during the long exposure. A tripod was necessary in most cases, depending on the lightness and density of the transparency in use. Very few of the initial images were worth keeping, but perseverence ensured that enough images were of suitable quality to make the project worthy of continuing. With the more recent advent of image stabilized digital cameras and high luminosity digital projectors it is now much easier to make images of this kind.Body Projection, published by Mike Crawley, is available to buy from BLURB in several formats.
